How this service is planned and delivered

Scheduling and access

  • Annual or quarterly periodic calendar agreed alongside the routine scope
  • One-off deep cleans scheduled for weekends, shutdowns or vacant periods
  • Access to plant areas, ceilings and locked rooms arranged in advance
  • Sequencing agreed with other trades where a fit-out is underway

How requirements are assessed

  • Which areas have fallen outside routine scope and why
  • Surfaces, finishes and any manufacturer care requirements
  • Access equipment and work-at-height requirements
  • Whether the task should become periodic rather than one-off

Quality considerations

  • A task list agreed before the work and checked after it
  • Photographic records where useful and permitted
  • Clear hand-back so the site is ready for use
  • Learnings fed into the routine scope

Scope boundaries

  • Work at height beyond step-platform reach requires a specific method statement and agreement
  • Restoration of damaged finishes is not cleaning and is referred to specialists
  • Biohazard and trauma cleaning are not offered under this service

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between periodic and deep cleaning?
Periodic tasks recur on a planned calendar, such as quarterly high dusting. A deep clean is a one-off, more intensive reset of an area. Many sites benefit from both, and we agree the split during scoping.
How is a deep clean priced and scoped?
After a walk-through, we list the areas and tasks, the access required and the time window. The quotation reflects that list; changes on the day are agreed before they are undertaken.
